Tiana Mangakahia has been a prime basketball player for Syracuse University ever since she arrived in 2017. Traveling from Australia to Syracuse was no easy task for the Australian native. Tiana always had a flare to compete as she would go head to head with her Brothers growing up and always challenged them to basketball. Tiana was a star for the Orange in her sophomore season, before being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019. Tough4T became her motto as she stayed strong and true to her character, and was able to battle her way back onto the court for the 2020-2021 season. After a stellar senior season Tiana signed with the Las Vegas Aces, shortly after. Now Tiana looks to continue to tear it up on the court at the next level.
