Sue Bird Autographed & Inscribed "2000 NCAA Champs" Game Used 2000 UConn Huskies Nike Warm-Up Jacket (Sue Bird LOA)
This UConn warm-up jacket was game worn by Sue Bird during her Sophomore Season in 2000. Bird autographed this jacket and inscribed "2000 NCAA Champs". Bird and the Huskies went 36-1 in 2000 and captured the NCAA Championship. This was the first of two NCAA titles for Bird during her stellar collegiate career. She won the first three Nancy Lieberman awards, given to the top point guard in the nation. This jacket has UConn's lettering stitched on the front and the University of Connecticut "C" stitched on the back. Bird led Team USA to four Olympic Gold Medals in 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2016. She led the team with 14 steals at the 2008 Olympic games and is the all-time WNBA leader in assists. By winning the Gold Medal at the 2018 FIBA Basketball World Cup, Bird became the only player in history to win four World Cup Gold Medals. This jacket comes with a letter of authenticity signed by Sue Bird.
